About
Mr Bing is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in foot and ankle conditions, limb deformity and complex lower‑limb reconstruction.
He completed his medical training at the University of Bristol Medical School before undertaking further surgical training at the University Hospitals of Leicester. In 2002, he moved to Shropshire to join the Oswestry/Stoke Trauma and Orthopaedic Specialist Registrar training programme. During this time, he gained extensive experience working in hospitals across Telford, Dudley, Stoke-on-Trent, Shrewsbury and Oswestry.
With broad trauma and orthopaedic expertise and successful completion of the Intercollegiate Board exams, Mr Bing went on to develop specialist skills in foot and ankle surgery and limb deformity correction. He spent a dedicated year in the renowned Foot and Ankle Unit at Oswestry and focused on limb deformity work during the final two years of his training.
Mr Bing has also completed a prestigious fellowship at the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Centre for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics in Kurgan, Russia. There he gained advanced experience in frame surgery, particularly for foot and ankle deformities and complex or infection‑related problems.
