About
Mr Tambe trained as a Specialist Registrar in Trauma and Orthopaedics in the Mid-Trent Orthopaedic programme, achieving success at the FRCS (Trauma and Orthopaedics).
He specialises in Shoulder and Elbow surgery and is experienced in the clinical and surgical management of a complete spectrum of conditions in the shoulder girdle and elbow area.
He gained his specialisation in the reputed Nottingham Shoulder Unit and the Derby Hand Unit. He then went on to complete a year in the renowned Wrightington Upper Limb Unit working with experts in this specialty.
He was awarded the prestigious British Elbow and Shoulder Society Travelling Fellowship in 2008 and the AO Foundation Fellowship, gaining valuable experience in centres of excellence in the UK and Europe and spending time at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA.
He has published books chapters has more than 40 papers in clinical journals. He presents his work in meetings and conferences in the UK and abroad regularly. He teaches and trains budding shoulder surgeons.
