About

Mr Mortimer started his career as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in 2016 at Sunderland Royal Hospital, where he was Lead for Urogynaecology and RCOG College Tutor.

For family reasons, he relocated to the South West in 2019 and was the Lead Clinician for O&G at North Devon District Hospital. Mr Mortimer is always keen to listen to patients to understand their symptoms. He will always take the time to discuss and explain their treatment options holistically. He is happy to see patients without a GP referral and can provide ultrasound assessment at the time of consultation if this is indicated.

Mr Mortimer is one of the two Regional Specialty Leads in the South West Research Delivery Network and is the vice-chair of the RCOG Patient Information Committee and a member of the BSUG Research Network. He is a BMS Menopause Specialist.
