About

I have been a consultant in plastic surgery and hand surgery since 2019, initially in Chelmsford before moving to Cambridge. I am an expert in surgical treatment of conditions of the hand, nerves of the upper limb and skin. Some of the excellent patients whom I have treated have been featured in the national press, BBC and ITV. I am also part of a team of plastic surgeons and hand surgeons that help look after some of the most seriously injured patients in the country at Addenbrooke's Hospital.

I treat patients over the age of 18 and specialise in all conditions of the hand including patients presenting with tingling fingers (carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome and other nerve compressions), trigger finger, Dupuytren's contracture, painful joints of the hand (arthritis) and problems with tendons (stuck, cut or ruptured tendons). I am also an expert in treating skin lumps and bumps including the removal of moles, warts, cysts, lipomas, basal cell carcinomas and other skin cancers.

In addition to my clinical work, I am also a by-Fellow of Hughes Hall, Cambridge University and an Honorary Lecturer at University College London (linked with the Department of Mechanical Engineering). I have won an Excellent Teaching Award from the Cambridge University Clinical School (2020). I am a member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers (Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh).

I am an approved tutor for the BSSH and University of Manchester Diploma in Hand Surgery.
