About
Mr Ahmed Elrefaiy is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Wye Valley Trust since 2021, with a special interest in upper limb, elbow and hand surgery. He holds fellowships of the Royal College of Surgeons (Trauma and Orthopaedics), the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology and Masters from Dundee University. He combines direct patient care with an active role in clinical research and appraisal, and he engages closely with the surgical literature to help bring current evidence into everyday practice. He is committed to clear, patient-centred communication and develops accessible information materials that help patients understand their condition and recovery.
