About
Adam Gaunt is a Consultant ENT surgeon working across Kent and Sussex.
He is known for his approachable manner and takes time to ensure patients feel heard, understand their condition, and are fully informed about their treatment options. Mr Gaunt provides comprehensive general ENT care alongside specialist expertise in both benign and malignant head and neck surgery. He is a core member of the West Kent Head and Neck MDT and currently serves as Chair of the West Kent Thyroid Cancer MDT. His surgical practice includes major head and neck cancer surgery at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, as well as clinical work at Medway Maritime Hospital and Darent Valley Hospital.
He completed advanced subspecialty training through a prestigious Royal College of Surgeons Interface Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield. During this time, he trained alongside leading ENT and maxillofacial surgeons in one of the UK’s largest specialist cancer centres, gaining extensive experience in complex head and neck oncology as well as thyroid and parathyroid surgery within a tertiary endocrine unit.
