About

I am a consultant gynaecologist and subspecialist urogynaecologist, and I’m passionate about providing expert, compassionate care for women with a wide range of gynaecological and pelvic floor conditions.

I have advanced, accredited subspecialist training in urogynaecology, and I use evidence-based approaches to manage conditions such as prolapse, incontinence and other pelvic floor disorders. I also support women with general gynaecological concerns, including menopause care and vulval conditions.

Education

I completed my general gynaecology training in the South West of England, and then went on to specialise further in urogynaecology in Scotland and Plymouth.

Leadership

I am currently the clinical lead for urogynaecology at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (RDUH). During my career, I have also led projects with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and NHS England, focusing on improving care for women and children.

Approach to patient care

I take a holistic, patient-centred approach to care. I believe in tailoring advice and treatment options to each individual, so they suit her needs and lifestyle.

Where appropriate, I prioritise non-surgical options and work closely with physiotherapists, urologists and other multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure the highest standard of care.
