About
Miss Smita Sinha is a Consultant Gynaecologist with 15 years of experience working in Gynaecology. She provides clinics specialising in tailor-made, holistic care for women experiencing Peri and Menopausal concerns or those with benign Vulval conditions.
Smita grew up in Bristol and studied medicine at Imperial College London, graduating in 2005. Her passion for Women’s healthcare began in medical school and after her foundation years, she applied successfully for specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London.
Smita was appointed as a substantive Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in 2018 at Musgrove Park Hospital, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. Whilst here she ran a specialist clinic in benign Vulval conditions, diagnosing and caring for patients with vulval skin conditions and concerns about vulval pain.
Throughout her career, Smita has gained experience caring for women during their peri and menopausal time, including those with complex medical and surgical histories.
Smita’s interests also include Medical education and she held several lead roles including RCOG College tutor and SuppoRTT champion for the Trust, where she was responsible for training and pastoral care for Postgraduate doctors.
Having left the NHS due to personal reasons in 2022, Smita remains committed to Women’s healthcare. In addition to working at Nuffield Health Taunton, she also founded Serenity Women’s Clinic.Special interests
Womens Health, Menopause, HRT, Vulval Conditions and Benign Vulval Disease.
