About
Miss Anna Sharrock has a primary clinical role as a consultant vascular surgeon at Frimley Park and Basingstoke Hospitals. Her secondary role is at the Royal London Hospital as a consultant trauma surgeon.
She has additional clinical experience in transplant and paediatric surgery, and leads the vascular access service at Frimley Park Hospital.
She is a serving member of the Defence Medical Services, and is the regional Military Associate Dean. She has recently demitted as Frimley’s Royal College Surgical Tutor, but continues to be actively involved in education and training locally and nationally.
Miss Sharrock’s interests cover the breadth of vascular surgery. She performs endovenous treatments, sclerotherapy and microsclerotherapy for varicose veins and thread veins privately.
Education
She undertook her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Imperial College London and postgraduate clinical training in the Wessex and Oxford deaneries.
She has undertaken operational deployments within Europe, Asia and the Middle East, gained additional ballistic trauma training in Jamaica and taught with surgical charities in Africa.
