Dr Jenkins is a highly experienced Consultant Cardiologist with advanced training in Edinburgh and at the internationally renowned Mayo Clinic, USA. In 2021, he was appointed Consultant Cardiologist at Gloucester Royal Hospital, where he also held an Honorary Consultant Cardiologist position with Oxford University Hospitals. In recognition of his leadership and clinical expertise, he was appointed Clinical Lead for Cardiology in Gloucestershire in 2024. In 2025, he returned to Scotland to join the Edinburgh Heart Centre at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, one of the UK's leading tertiary cardiac centres.
