About
I'm a Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatological Surgeon with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair and nail conditions.
I have a specialist interest in skin cancer and Mohs micrographic surgery and am recognised for my expertise in dermatological and reconstructive surgery.
I provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of dermatological conditions, including skin cancer, and I perform both medical and surgical dermatology procedures.
Clinical interests
I have a particular interest in skin cancer management and Mohs micrographic surgery, a specialised technique used to treat certain skin cancers while preserving as much healthy tissue as possible.
I also have extensive experience in reconstructive surgery following skin cancer treatment and in cosmetic dermatology procedures.
Education and experience
I graduated from the University of Leicester and completed specialist dermatology training in Manchester. I subsequently undertook an advanced fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the Skin Cancer Institute in New Zealand.
I am the only dermatological surgeon in Yorkshire accredited by the American College of Mohs Surgery.
Important information
- Mohs surgery is not performed at Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital. Patients requiring this procedure will be referred to Chapel Allerton Hospital
- I don't see paediatric eczema cases
- I don't accept AXA Health insurance
- If Isotretinoin is being considered for acne, patients will be referred for a second opinion with another consultant, which will involve an additional consultation fee.
