About
Dr Vicky Sully has worked as a Clinical Psychologist for nearly 20 years across NHS and independent mental health services. She undertakes comprehensive, evidence-based diagnostic assessments for ADHD and Autism in line with national guidelines and NICE recommendations and has extensive experience in adult mental health services.
Dr Sully trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at UCL, qualifying in 2001, and completed her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Plymouth in 2010. She has since held a range of senior NHS roles, including leadership positions in staff psychological wellbeing and service development. Alongside her specialist neurodevelopmental work, she has broad experience of complex mental health presentations, detailed psychological assessment, and formulation-led intervention across community and specialist settings.
She takes a thoughtful and collaborative approach to assessment, recognizing that many people seeking a neurodevelopmental assessment have spent years questioning or masking their difficulties, and works to ensure they feel heard and understood. She also supports people to understand how neurodiversity and mental health difficulties can be closely intertwined, helping them make sense of their experiences and identify positive, realistic ways forward.
Dr Sully is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society.
Outside clinical work, Vicky has a longstanding interest in antiquing, particularly bidding at auction for mid-century furniture, and enjoys coastal walks with her Jack Russell, Rex.
