About
Dr Harris is a very experienced GP qualifying in 1992 and working as a GP since 1998.
She has always harboured an interest in women’s health and gained qualifications and wide experience in gynaecology as well as reproductive medicine and sexual health.
Following a very symptomatic early menopause herself she developed a further interest in menopause and is now a BMS Accredited menopause specialist.
Her current practice includes treating women with a wide range of hormone-related problems including menopause, perimenopause, PMDD/PMS, PCOS and breast cancer as well as looking at ways to improve general physical and mental health.
She feels very strongly that most women benefit from the time and space offered in a face-to-face consultation to address their problems so that any discussion, advice or treatment can be tailored to the individual’s own unique needs.
She finds her work both rewarding and challenging and is passionate about helping women to achieve a good quality of life and a sense of wellbeing.
