About

I have been practicing as a respiratory specialist since 1995. Over the last 30 years I have worked in the respiratory medicine departments of Norwich, Addenbrookes and Papworth Hospitals before settling in Suffolk.

I have an extensive experience in managing a wide range of respiratory conditions including the assessment and treatment of breathlessness, recurrent infections, inflammatory lung diseases including those associated with rheumatological disease aa well as sleep disorders, amongst others.

I have a sub-specialist interest in asthma management and have been involved in the development country's national guidelines on the treatment of asthma. I am the counties lead for complex asthma and access to biologics.
I started the Ipswich endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) service which I continue to perform, along with ordinary bronchoscopy.

I am clinical lead for the counties treatment guidelines for asthma and COPD.

Education

I graduated from St Thomas's hospital London in 1990 and then spent the early years of junior hospital doctor training in the South East and South West of England.
