About
Dr Prasad is Consultant Cardiologist with special interests in Coronary Angioplasty, Heart Failure and Valvular Heart Disease. He qualified in 1988 from the University of Dundee, received his MRCP (Member of the Royal College of Physicians) in 1991, FRCP (Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians) (Edin) 2000 and MD (Medical Doctor) in 1998.
He undertook his Cardiology Specialist Registrar training in Glasgow followed by specialist fellowship training in coronary angioplasty for 1 year at Toronto General Hospital, Toronto, Canada. He has now been a consultant cardiologist for over 10 years, having previously worked in Birmingham and overseas.
