About
Dr Siva is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in the treatment of Breast and Lung cancers at present. He is an expert in complex radiotherapy treatments such as IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy), IGRT (Image Guided Radiotherapy) and SABR (Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy). He has helped implement these technologies locally and continues to be involved in delivering these highly specialised treatments for his patients who would otherwise have to travel afar to access such treatments.
He also has expertise in chemotherapy, Biological, targeted and immunotherapy treatments for various cancers. He has been a Consultant in Clinical Oncology since 2007. Having specialised and practiced in various cancer subsite specialty areas, he moved to the North Midlands in October 2020 where he has been appointed as a Consultant Oncologist at the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.
He has been practicing at the Nuffield Hospital, North Staffordshire since early 2021. His focus on care for his patients is led by up-to-date research and clinical audit with the aim of delivering patient-centred, personalised care for his patients. He feels privileged to be at the forefront of some of these recent advancements in cancer care in being able to provide such treatments to his patients.
