After graduating from the University of Oxford, Dr Irving completed her medical training at University College London and the University of Manchester, followed by specialist training in General Internal Medicine and Rheumatology in London. She has been practising as a Consultant Rheumatologist since 2008, bringing extensive clinical expertise to both routine and complex cases.

She is also experienced in managing acute rheumatological presentations, ensuring timely assessment and effective intervention. In addition, Dr Irving has a strong clinical focus on fibromyalgia, chronic pain, and the psychological aspects of living with long-term conditions.
