About
Professor K.S. Srinivasan has been a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals NHS Trust since March 2003. He has over two decades of experience diagnosing and treating adult respiratory conditions.
He provides specialist care for a wide range of lung diseases, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease (ILD), lung infections, and lung cancer. His clinical approach focuses on accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and personalised patient care.
Professor Srinivasan is experienced in a number of key respiratory procedures. These include bronchoscopy, pleural aspiration, chest drain insertion, and the interpretation of pulmonary function tests. He also supports the diagnosis and management of complex respiratory conditions using modern diagnostic techniques.
Alongside his clinical work, Professor Srinivasan has a strong interest in medical education. He has been actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching for many years. He currently serves as the Hospital Dean for Keele Medical School at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals NHS Trust, where he leads and supports the training of future doctors.
