Dr Boullin is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist. He is an experienced consultant with a large clinical practice, seeing patients with a wide variety of cardiology problems.
In his NHS work he holds general cardiology clinics, arrhythmia clinics and heart failure clinics. His sub-specialty interest is in heart rhythm management, including ablation and cardiac device therapy. He is the arrhythmia lead in West Dorset and works with his team to ensure provision of the very best care.
He set up the Electophysiology service in Norfolk and worked at Barts Hospital, London (the largest electrophysiology centre in Europe) before returning to Dorset with his family in 2017.
He likes to keep himself fit and healthy, his passion being cycling. Lifestyle advice and risk factor modification is always important alongside drug and procedure based treatment in a holistic and balanced approach. Everyone is different and everyone deserves an individualised approach.

Dr Boullin is well published in international peer-reviewed journals. Dr Boullin was awarded his MD research degree in 2008 for his work studying the impact of poor nutrition on the hearts development and progression to disease.
