About
Dr Jonathan Witherick is a General Neurologist who provides outpatient neurological consultations at Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital. He assesses and manages a wide range of neurological conditions in adults, using evidence-based clinical approaches to diagnosis and long-term care planning.
He has completed a postgraduate research degree focused on Multiple Sclerosis (MS), with a particular academic interest in demyelinating disease. He is the Somerset service lead for Motor Neurone Disease (MND), coordinating specialist care pathways for patients with this condition.
Alongside this, he has extensive clinical experience in the assessment and management of headache disorders (including migraine), epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders, as well as peripheral neuropathies and other disorders of the peripheral nervous system.
