About

Dr Beintaris is a highly experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist, renowned for his expertise across the full spectrum of general gastroenterology. He holds a special interest in advanced techniques (Luminal Therapeutic Endoscopy) to treat conditions affecting the digestive system and inflammatory bowel disease, areas in which he has developed a strong clinical reputation.

He serves as the Clinical Lead for Endoscopy at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, where he plays a pivotal role in driving innovation, quality, and service development. His leadership extends nationally through his membership on the British Society of Gastroenterology Endoscopy Committee, contributing to the advancement of best practices and standards in endoscopic care.

In addition, Dr Beintaris is an accredited assessor for the National Endoscopy Joint Advisory Group (JAG), supporting the delivery of high-quality training and accreditation across UK endoscopy services.
