About
Dr Bolusani was appointed as a Consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff in 2009 after completing his specialist training in Wales.
Cardiff University awarded him an MD for his research work looking at the metabolic and cardiovascular effects of CLA in patients with Prediabetes. In his current role, he is responsible for managing patients admitted to a high turnover short-stay medical ward and contributing to the tertiary Diabetes and Endocrine services at the University Hospital of Wales. He was until recently a Clinical Director in integrated Medicine and provided strategic leadership to the service.
He is also a member of the speciality training committee
and takes an active part in the supervision and training of medical students
and higher specialist trainees. He also actively contributes to Type 2
Diabetes research at the Cardiff & Vale University health board.
