About

Dr Gosia Wamil is an Oxford-trained, internationally recognised consultant cardiologist. She sees patients at the Manor Hospital in Oxford and at Mayo Clinic Healthcare in London.

Dr Wamil is a leading cardiologist with a special focus on women’s heart health and cardio-metabolic conditions. She wrote national NICE guidelines on managing heart-disease risk in people with diabetes, and she brings that expertise into everyday care, combining compassion with clear, practical advice. Her clinical work spans heart failure and the precise use of non-invasive imaging, including cardiovascular MRI, cardiac CT, and advanced echocardiography (trans-oesophageal, bubble, contrast, 3D, and stress echo). Patients value her warm manner, the time she takes to listen, and her understanding that women’s symptoms and risks can be different—and deserve tailored care.

Dr Wamil trained in general medicine and cardiology at Oxford University Hospitals (2008–2017), completing fellowships in cardiovascular medicine, advanced imaging, heart failure and inherited cardiomyopathies. She holds international accreditations in echocardiography, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. She has received awards and fellowships from the British Heart Foundation, the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging and the European Society of Cardiology.

She is known for combining MRI, CT and advanced echocardiography to solve complex cases. She takes a calm, holistic, patient-centred approach to care.

Dr Wamil offers comprehensive heart-health screening packages, typically including a consultation, resting ECG, blood tests for cholesterol/diabetes risk, and advanced non-invasive imaging (such as echocardiography, with optional CT calcium scoring or CT coronary angiography when appropriate). You’ll receive a same-day summary, a personalised risk report, and a clear plan you can follow. Packages can be tailored for women’s heart health and for people with cardio-metabolic risks with transparent pricing and swift access to follow-up if needed.
