About
In 2003, I completed my postgraduate medical training in Sheffield and then moved to Southampton to train in Dermatology. I spent 10 months in Portsmouth as a research clinical fellow and then got a training number at the Wessex Deanery.
During my dermatology training I rotated through three different hospitals (Portsmouth, Southampton and Christchurch) which gave me the opportunity to learn basic and advanced surgical skills, emergency dermatology, general and specialist dermatology.
After completing four years of training, I received a one-year, surgical dermatology and Mohs fellowship at the dermatology department based at Churchill Hospital in Oxford. After finishing the Mohs fellowship I worked part time in Oxford for another year as a locum consultant in Mohs surgery.
At the same time I got a part time, substantive job as a Consultant Dermatologist with interest in Mohs surgery at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth (the largest Mohs centre in Wessex). I complemented my training with residential courses in the US.

Research
I was involved in a research project of a short acting oral retinoid used to treat hand dermatitis (Alitretinoin).I've also been involved in photodynamic therapy trials with renal transplant patients.
