Dr Cornish did her undergraduate medicine at Trinity Hall, Cambridge and her clinical training at St Thomas’s Hospital. She qualified in 1984.
She was a Partner at Newnham Walk Surgery from 1990 to 2019, and then a salaried GP until September 2025. She was a GP Trainer, Foundation Doctor supervisor, teacher of medical students, school doctor for King’s School, and an appraiser.
Her
interests are the full range of general practice, including children. She has
extensive experience with student health, and is also interested in women’s
health and elderly patients.
