About
Dr Obetoh is a paediatric consultant with a specialist interest in allergic disease. She has been appointed as a General Paediatrics consultant with a specialist interest in allergy at the Oxford University Hospitals since 2011. She works at the Horton General Hospital and the Children’s Hospital, Oxford.
Dr Obetoh graduated from the University College Hospital of Ibadan, Nigeria, in 1987 and did her training in Paediatrics in Nigeria and then in the UK. She obtained an MSC in Allergy from Imperial College London in 2013.
Her private practice mirrors her expertise in general paediatrics and allergy. She see's children with common paediatric problems and different types of allergic diseases, including food allergies, allergic rhinitis/hay fever, asthma, chronic urticaria and eczema.
She performs skin prick tests in the clinic so that she can offer a one-stop allergy assessment. She currently also offers immunotherapy for grass pollen and house dust mites.
Please note: A GP referral is mandatory and should be sent to the private secretary in advance of the appointment. Dr Obetoh can see patients up to 19 years old.
