About
Dr Christina Williams graduated from the University of Cambridge and went on to specialise in Dermatology at the Centre for Dermatology in Leeds. She was appointed a Consultant Dermatologist in York Hospital in 2012.
Dr Williams has an active interest in medical education and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Other interests
Dr Christina Williams provides consultation on all dermatological and skin-related problems, including hair and nails. She has a special interest in contact dermatitis, in particular hand eczema, and acne. She acts as the Joint Skin Cancer Lead in the York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Williams has carried out research into hand dermatitis and allergies as well as the benefits of emollients (moisturisers). She is widely published in peer-reviewed journals on a wide range of topics including skin cancer and the treatment of acne. She is a chapter author in Treatment of Dry Skin Syndrome.
