About

Consultant Rheumatologist, Dr Bhavisha Vasta, understands how greatly rheumatic conditions can impact on quality of life, and is firmly committed to rapidly reaching a diagnosis and holistic personalised treatment plan.
 

She offers patients investigation, diagnosis and management of a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions including:

• Inflammatory arthritis (including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis)
• Osteoporosis & metabolic bone disease (including Paget's disease and osteomalacia)
• Osteoarthritis
• Soft tissue rheumatic disorders (including tendonitis and bursitis)
• Polymyalgia rheumatica
• Gout

• Connective tissue disease

She also performs joint and soft tissue injections to help manage pain from arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions.

Dr Vasta completed her pre-clinical studies at Cambridge University, and graduated with distinction in clinical studies from University College London. She undertook her specialist rheumatology training at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases in Bath, a national centre of excellence. Dr Vasta has previously held a Rheumatology Consultant post in Worcestershire. She now works at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust as a Consultant Rheumatologist, Clinical Lead for Osteoporosis and Clinical Director for Rheumatology.

Cancellation Policy

We require at least 48 hours notice if you wish to reschedule or cancel your appointment or procedure without charge. For appointments on a Monday, we must receive notification before 11am on the preceding Thursday. For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or if you do not attend your appointment, a cancellation fee of 100% of the appointment charge at the self-pay rate will be charged. For cancellations with more than 24 hours notice but less than 48 hours notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the appointment charge at the self-pay rate will be charged.

Please note that most insurers will not cover a cancellation fee so you would be invoiced directly.
