About
Dr Basil Ridha is a highly experienced Consultant Neurologist specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of neurological conditions. He provides expert care for patients with symptoms affecting the brain, nerves, and memory, managing both common presentations and more complex neurological disorders.
He has a particular interest in migraine diagnosis and treatment. This includes advanced therapies such as botulinum toxin (Botox) injections for chronic migraine and greater occipital nerve block procedures. He regularly supports patients whose symptoms have not improved with standard treatments, offering tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
Dr Ridha was appointed Consultant Neurologist at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals in 2011. He also holds roles at University College London and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, where he works as an Honorary Senior Lecturer and Consultant Neurologist, combining clinical expertise with teaching and research.
