Dr Anita Weerakoon is a Consultant Rheumatologist working at Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital. She gained higher specialist training in Rheumatology at Ipswich Hospital and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

Dr Weerakoon has experience in management of a wide spectrum of Rheumatic disorders and has special interest in Inflammatory Arthritis including Spondyloarthritis.

Dr Weerakoon is involved in teaching medical students, junior doctors, GPs, AHPs and patient groups.

Dr Weerakoon encourages active patient participation and shared decision making in providing high quality patient care.
