He has extensive experience managing injuries to muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints, including complex cases such as tendinopathy, osteoarthritis, and meniscal injuries. In his role as Pathway Lead Doctor at The Football Association, Dr Verma supports all England men's teams at the National Football Centre, St George’s Park. His previous roles include positions with Liverpool FC, Burnley FC, and the Huddersfield Giants. Since 2022, he has served as First Team Doctor at Huddersfield Town AFC.
He has also worked at major international sporting events such as the 2022 Commonwealth Games, British Athletics competitions, international Taekwondo, and with the British Cycling Team ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
