I am a Consultant in Sexual Health and HIV Medicine. I have over 35 years of medical experience and have been a Consultant since 2003.

I provide private care at Nuffield Health Derby Hospital. I also work in the NHS at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital in Derby.

I specialise in sexual health, HIV care and contraception. My aim is to provide confidential, respectful care and help you feel comfortable discussing your concerns.

I qualified in medicine in 1989. I hold a range of specialist qualifications, including training with the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

I am the Clinical Director for Genitourinary Medicine (GUM) within my NHS Trust. I also contribute to national guidelines as a member of the Clinical Effectiveness Group for the British Association for Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH).

• Skin conditions affecting the genital area (genital dermatology)

I offer a full range of sexual health services, including:

• STI testing and screening
• HIV testing and prevention, including PrEP and PEP (medications to reduce the risk of HIV)
• Treatment of genital skin conditions, including warts and other skin changes
• Assessment and treatment of sexual health problems
• Contraception advice, including coil (intrauterine device) fitting and removal

I provide care for both men and women and tailor treatment to your individual needs.
