Your initial 45-minute appointment involves an assessment and treatment. We assess your pain and symptoms to determine the cause of these symptoms, then recommend a treatment plan for you and begin this treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will advise how many appointments you will need but you can stop treatment at any time.

What is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is physical treatment delivered by a registered Physiotherapist to help reduce pain, restore range of movement and function and help improve quality of life. This is done by examination, evaluation, understanding your perception and expectation, giving a clinical diagnosis and delivering treatment.

Treatments available at Nuffield Health Wimbledon include: Acupuncture, Aquatic (Hydro) therapy, CBT, Exercise, Pilates, Ergonomics assessments, Ultrasound, Biomechanical assessments and gait analysis, Massage, Spinal and peripheral manipulation and temporary orthotic prescription.

How can I help you improve your health?

Harriet is a senior physiotherapist at Nuffield Health. She has been a Chartered Physiotherapist for 10yrs since graduating from Kings College London. She is an experienced physiotherapist and a specialist in paediatrics. 

She treats a variety of conditions and is qualified in soft tissue massage and joint mobilisations but aims to balance any treatment techniques necessary with exercise, strength and conditioning.  

Alongside full time work, she has also worked part-time within Championship professional football with the academy teams, enhancing her skills to manage the training load and rehabilitation of young athletes.  

Harriet has a sporting background herself having represented internationally in Lacrosse, and playing netball to a good standard. When not participating in team sports, she enjoys triathlons, running and cycling events also.

How can I help you improve your health?

Kathy Scorer is an Advanced Level Physiotherapist and Regional Clinical Lead for Nuffield Health. Kathy graduated from St Georges University of London with BSc in Physiotherapy and is now studying as MSc in Advanced Neuro-musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of Brighton. Kathy has worked in a variety of physiotherapy settings including; MoD, Premier Cricket and Rugby Clubs and within the private sector. This gives her a broad range of knowledge and skills in many areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Kathy is a very 'hands-on' physiotherapist who understands the value of self-management and exercise prescription. Wherever possible Kathy will incorporate injury prevention into treatment plans to reduce your risk of further injury.

How can I help you improve your health?

Grace is a Charted Physiotherapist, with a Sport and Exercise Science background. She is an exercise-focused therapist, who uses soft tissue massage and other manual techniques to help you return to full function, and back to the activities you want.

Prior to completing her Masters in Physiotherapy at Brunel University, Grace studied Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Bath. During this time she spent a year working and developing elite athletes at New South Wales Institute of Sport in Australia. This founded her interest in sporting injuries, in particular hamstring strains and tendinopathies. Since qualifying, she has worked at two major London NHS trusts. This has given her a good grounding knowledge and skill set, before specialising in musculoskeletal injuries.

When Grace is not working, she likes to keep fit by training with friends in the gym and on occasion for triathlons. She also plays tennis regularly, and has a keen interest in rugby and netball.
