We encourage all patients to rest between 1.30pm and 2.30pm and would therefore suggest that visits are planned around this quiet time.

Your recovery is of paramount importance and you may find that you are very tired following surgery. With this in mind visitors are encouraged to leave by 8.30pm.

Please be mindful of other patients who may be resting whilst you are receiving your visitors.

If you do not wish it to be known that you are in the hospital, please inform reception.

All visitors to the ward may be asked to sign in and out of our visitor's book at reception on every occasion and they may be given a security badge to wear while they are on hospital premises.

External CCTV is in operation at the hospital as an additional precaution. If you are aware of or suspect any threat to security please inform a member of staff as soon as possible.

Car Parking

Free car parking is available at the hospital, but this can be limited during peak times.

Should you or your visitors require taxi services, the reception team will be happy to arrange this for you.

Visitor meals

Your visitors are welcome to dine with you and can choose from our daily menu. Orders will be taken by the ward serving staff. For the full range of dishes to be available we would appreciate orders for lunch by 11am and dinner by 4pm.

Please note that visitors’ meals are chargeable and these will be added to your room account unless you advise otherwise.

Local accommodation

Should your relatives or friends wish to stay locally there are a number of hotels and bed and breakfasts which we can recommend. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate your visitors overnight.
