Our clinical pages are written by our in-house content team, supported by experienced medical copywriters. Information is checked against authoritative sources, such as the NHS, NICE (the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) and EIDO Healthcare, and the relevant medical royal college or specialist body, alongside our own clinical resources.

All new clinical content is reviewed by our health experts and/or consultants, whether that means checking our copy for medical accuracy or writing the content themselves. As with all Nuffield Health consultants, they're registered with the appropriate professional body for their specialty, including the General Medical Council. They're the experts we trust to keep our information clinically accurate and up to date.

In some cases, we also use AI to create clinical pages. Any content produced this way goes through the same clinical review described above: a consultant or general practitioner (GP) reviews, validates and signs it off before publication. No patient or personal information is used in the process.
