About
Miss Radha Indusekhar is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at The University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust since 2006. She graduated in 1989 and subsequently completed her MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology and FRCOG from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has had a extensive experience in the field of women's health and has more than two decades of experience in the NHS.
She is the lead of Menopause and pre-menstrual syndrome. She is BMS accredited Menopause specialist and runs a weekly clinic on a Tuesday, at the North Staffordshire Nuffield and Brampton Medical. Her clinical practice encompasses general gynecology which includes menstrual disorders, heavy menstrual bleeding benign gynecological surgery ( hysterectomy- open and laparoscopic, laparoscopic removal of tubes and ovaries, hysteroscopy , endometrial ablation , mirena coil ablation, diagnostic laparoscopy for pelvic pain)
Miss Indusekhar has an interest in high risk obstetrics, medical disorders in pregnancy and a special interest in pre-pregnancy counselling.
She is passionate about teaching undergraduate Keele medical students and also training today's postgraduate junior doctor trainees on the West Midlands rotational training programme as well as UHNM appointed doctors. She has previously been Royal College Tutor in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Other interests
She has specialist interest in high risk obstetrics and medical disorders in pregnancy. Benign gynaecology - Menstrual disorders, menopause and HRT.
Miss Indusekhar also undertakes undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, clinical guideline development.
