Mrs Indira Gadhvi

Mrs Indira Gadhvi is a highly experienced Consultant Audiologist with more than 30 years of clinical practice in both adult and paediatric audiology. She provides hearing assessments for adults and children, along with glue ear monitoring using tympanometry, and offers same‑day reports for self‑referred patients to support quick and informed decision‑making.

Experience and medical background

Practising since 1984, Mrs Gadhvi has developed extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of hearing and middle‑ear conditions. She spent over 20 years as Paediatric Audiology Lead within local NHS services, where she oversaw service development, clinical governance, and multidisciplinary care.

Her clinical work includes:

• Comprehensive hearing assessments for adults and children (3+ years)

• Pure‑tone audiometry and speech audiometry

• Tympanometry and glue ear monitoring

• Early detection of conductive and sensorineural hearing loss

• Assessment of children with recurrent otitis media with effusion (glue ear)

Teaching and professional development

Alongside her clinical practice, Mrs Gadhvi is actively involved in training GPs, junior doctors, and allied health professionals, helping them understand audiological assessment pathways and how to interpret diagnostic results.

Qualifications and professional memberships

Mrs Gadhvi holds BAAT Part 1 and Part 2 qualifications and is registered with the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP). She is also a member of the British Academy of Audiology.
