About
Mr Zeiad El Gizawy is a highly regarded consultant gynaecologist who specialises in menstrual disorders, endometriosis, painful periods, pelvic pain, fibroids, and fertility treatments.
With over 20 years’ experience, Mr El Gizawy is highly proficient in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopy and robotic surgery, and is also an accredited endometriosis surgeon with the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy.
Education
He began his career with a Bachelor Degree of Medicine and Surgery before completing his training in his chosen field in the West Midlands Deanery.
He completed further training in advanced laparoscopic surgery with a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy from Surrey University.
He also received training in Robotic Surgery through training courses in Strasbourg and Paris.
Teaching
He is heavily involved in medical education and has been awarded a Diploma in Medical Education from Keele University. He holds teaching sessions for GPs.
Special interests
Mr El-Gizawy has a special interest in managing pelvic pain and endometriosis and has vast training and expertise on minimally invasive surgical techniques, especially robotic surgery.
Mr El-Gizawy is also experienced in infertility surgery and reproductive medicine. His main focus is robotic gynaecological surgery, where he offers robotic surgery for deep infiltrating endometriosis, fibroids and ovarian pathology.

In his spare time, he enjoys cycling.
