About
Mr Yemi Coker is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital, Essex and is a nationally recognised consultant specialising in gynaecology and uro-gynaecology, with advanced expertise in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He began his medical career at Guy’s Hospital in London and completed registrar training on the Oxford rotation, followed by specialist training at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington. As well as this he holds Level 3 laparoscopic surgery accreditation from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and is accredited in robotic gynaecological surgery by the British and Irish Association of Robotic Gynaecological Surgeons.
Mr Coker serves as Lead Consultant Gynaecologist at the Queen’s Hospital NHS Trust NHS-commissioned Endometriosis Centre and is , where he delivers complex laparoscopic and robotic care for endometriosis within a multidisciplinary specialist service. He is also a BSUG-accredited urogynaecologist at the Queen’s Urogynaecology Centre and a Honorary Consultant appointment at Barts Health NHS Foundation Trust
Mr Coker’s surgical practice includes advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures for prolapse and urinary incontinence, including sacrocolpopexy, colposuspension, Bulkamid bladder neck injections, and intravesical botulinum toxin treatments.
In addition to his clinical roles, Mr Coker is actively involved in training senior clinicians in complex laparoscopic techniques.
