About
Mr Jasani is a fellowship trained spinal surgeon, lucky enough to have had both orthopaedic and neurological spinal training.
His practice encompasses all aspects of spinal surgery with a particular interest in neck surgery, complex reconstructive surgery and children's spine surgery (including scoliosis).
Mr Jasani is the lead spine surgeon for tumours of the spine, and also has a significant role in managing the traumatically injured spine.
He has introduced microsurgery in the spine to the Spinal Surgical Unit at the trust and is continuing the practice and evaluation of minimally invasive techniques in the spine.
Other interests
In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Jasani is also actively involved in the education and training of surgical trainees in the West Midlands region, and spinal surgical trainees nationally.
He has embarked on a diploma in medical education to enhance both his teaching skills and theoretical knowledge.
