Mr Trif Papettas is a highly experienced Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital in Leamington Spa. With a career spanning over two decades, he provides specialist surgical care to patients across Warwickshire, including Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, Kenilworth, and Coventry. As a leading expert in minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery, he has performed over 7,500 procedures, specialising in laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery. His clinical practice focuses on treating gallbladder disease (gallstones), complex hernias, and a wide range of colorectal conditions, offering patients reduced post-operative pain and a significantly faster recovery.
 
As a specialist in abdominal wall reconstruction, Mr Papettas treats all varieties of hernias, including inguinal (groin) hernias, femoral, umbilical, and incisional hernias. He holds full JAG accreditation in therapeutic colonoscopy and diagnostic gastroscopy, ensuring high-quality endoscopic assessment for patients experiencing rectal bleeding (piles), altered bowel habits, constipation, or anaemia. He also specialises in perianal conditions, providing advanced treatments for haemorrhoids (piles), anal fistulas, and fissures. After graduating with Honours from the University of Sheffield, he completed elite fellowships at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, and Frimley Park, including an Ethicon Advanced Laparoscopic Fellowship in robotic and pelvic floor surgery.
