Mr Timothy Bullen

I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1998 and having completed my undergraduate and postgraduate training in the Mersey region I performed a fellowship at the Christie Hospital before working initially at Chesterfield District General Hospital and then moving to the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. I have completed a research MD, published papers and articles which covered looking at cell shedding from the gastrointestinal tract, laparoscopic and open surgery for inflammatory bowel disease and treatment of adhesions.

Over the 7 years, I have worked at the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust I spent five years as lead for the Surgical Audit, Governance and Education meetings. I am one of four colorectal surgeons providing surgical support for the complex endometriosis service. I perform surgery for conditions affecting the colon, rectum and anus and have a specialist interest in complex hernias.
