About
Mr Timothy Bullen is an experienced Consultant Colorectal Surgeon specialising in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of conditions affecting the colon, rectum and anus.
He provides expert care for patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), colorectal cancer, bowel dysfunction, anorectal conditions, and complex abdominal wall hernias.
Mr Bullen graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1998 and completed extensive undergraduate and postgraduate surgical training across the Mersey region. He later undertook a specialist fellowship at the renowned Christie Hospital, gaining advanced expertise in colorectal and oncological surgery.
His early consultant practice began at Chesterfield District General Hospital, followed by a move to the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, where he has worked for more than seven years.
Mr Bullen is committed to providing personalised, high‑quality
care using the most modern and minimally invasive surgical techniques. His
approach focuses on optimising patient recovery, reducing complications, and
improving long‑term outcomes.
