About
Mr Shad Khan is one of the UK's leading Consultant Endocrine and General Surgeons. His NHS practice is currently based within the Endocrine and General Surgery Units, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Oxford.
Once he completed his surgical training in London, he embarked upon a Fellowship in the prestigious Oxford Endocrine Unit where he currently holds his Consultant post.
Mr Khan sets aside time to work for various charities and performs hernia surgery in Africa and South America.

Other interests
Mr Khan works in a specialist hernia service within the ESOP Department at the Manor Hospital, Oxford. Hernias including Inguinal, umbilical/paraumbilical, femoral and epigastric hernias are being repaired under local anaesthetic, block and sedation.
As a result, patient benefits include:

- Most patients can walk around immediately or soon after the operation
