About
Mr Sebastian Adamson is an experienced Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician with specialist expertise in acute gynaecology, cancer diagnostics, menstrual disorders, chronic pelvic pain, and minimal access (keyhole) surgery.
His clinical practice covers the full breadth of gynaecological conditions, including ovarian cysts, fibroids, polyps, prolapse, pelvic and vaginal pain, dysfunctional bleeding, menopause care, and post-menopausal bleeding.
Leadership
Mr Adamson is a full-time NHS consultant at University Hospitals Sussex, where he leads the Emergency Gynaecology service and supports the urgent suspected cancer pathway, providing post-menopausal bleeding clinics, benign gynaecology clinics, and both major and day-case surgery.
Mr Adamson also serves as a Clinical Director at University Hospitals Sussex, contributing to service development and clinical leadership across the region.
