About
Mr Chauhan is an internationally renowned surgeon who pioneered the use of computer and robotic assistance in knee surgery and introduced both techniques to both the UK and Sussex.
He is a fellowship trained knee surgeon having undertaken fellowships in joint replacement surgery, complex sports ligament reconstruction and meniscal surgery in both the US and Australia.
His expertise leads him to treat a wide range of patients ranging from sports injuries including ligament injuries and meniscal tears to arthritic conditions requiring treatment.
Having introduced robotic knee surgery to Sussex he has performed over 750 robotic joint replacement cases.
His personnel interest in the Professional Sports teams in Sussex has led him to treating many Professional football and cricket players over the last 15 years.
He works as a Orthopaedic Surgeon at University Hospitals Sussex.
