Mr Rahim Kaba is a highly skilled Consultant Urological Surgeon practising at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital in Leamington Spa. He also serves as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Warwick Medical School within the South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT). Mr Kaba’s exceptional expertise has secured him a prestigious position on the Medical Advisory Panel for “Bladder Health UK”, a prominent charity dedicated to bladder and urinary health.
He has previously held significant leadership roles, including Cancer Lead for Urology and Royal College of Surgeons Tutor for SWFT. As a leading urologist in Warwickshire, he is dedicated to providing an open, personalised approach to patient care for referring GPs and private patients across Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, Kenilworth, the wider Coventry area and beyond. Maintaining a high-volume practice, Mr Kaba consistently achieves outstanding clinical outcomes across a broad spectrum of general adult urological conditions. Serving patients throughout Warwickshire and the West Midlands, he specialises in the investigation of raised PSA and prostate cancer, recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs), haematuria (blood in urine), and male urinary or prostatic symptoms (LUTS).
He also provides specialist care for female incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and various penile and testicular issues. His subspecialty expertise lies in advanced treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or enlarged prostate. Mr Kaba is a pioneer of minimally invasive prostate surgery in the West Midlands, being the first consultant to perform Aquablation® therapy in the region. He offers a full range of modern alternatives to traditional surgery, including UroLift, conventional bipolar TURP, and Rezūm water vapor therapy, for which he recently received a prestigious award for his clinical experience and excellence.
Mr Kaba is an esteemed alumnus of Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ (GKT) School of Medicine in London and refined his surgical skills at the Oxford School of Surgery. He completed his specialist urology training in the Northwest of England, working at world-renowned centres such as The Christie Hospital and the Manchester Royal Infirmary. Beyond his clinical work, he is a published researcher and a dedicated medical educator, serving as a clinical tutor and examiner at the University of Warwick. Mr Kaba enjoys spending time with his family and watching his sons and daughter grow up. His playing days are now over but he enjoys watching football.
