About

Dr Ramesh sees adults and children aged 12 years+ at Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital. He also sees adults aged 18 years+ at Nuffield Health Woking Hospital.

Mr Palanisamy Ramesh was appointed as a consultant Orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in Foot and Ankle surgery at Kingston Hospital, Kingston upon Thames in August 2005.

Education

Mr Ramesh underwent his higher surgical training in Orthopaedic surgery in the South East Thames region including Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals in London and completed a fellowship in Preston / Chorley hospitals.

He was entered into the Specialist register for Orthopaedic surgery in 2005. He was awarded the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society’s (AOFAS) International Travelling Fellow in 2007 and DePuy's Travelling Fellow in 2006.

This allowed him to visit and train with a number of Foot and Ankle surgeons within North America including Columbus, Galveston, Houston, Minnesota, Toronto, Rochester, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington and Baltimore.

Teaching and research

Ramesh is involved in clinical research and academic development and has presented his research at Orthopaedic conferences both nationally and internationally.
