About
Mr P. Sathyamoorthy is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialist expertise in shoulder, elbow and hand conditions, offering advanced surgical and non‑surgical treatments for upper‑limb disorders. He completed higher surgical training at the Mersey Deanery in Liverpool, gaining Specialist Registration in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2006, followed by a dedicated Shoulder and Upper Limb Fellowship at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. He also holds a Master’s degree in Orthopaedics from the University of Liverpool and has been a full‑time NHS Consultant since 2008.His practice covers the full spectrum of upper‑limb pathology, including rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, arthritis, elbow injuries, hand nerve entrapment, and sports‑related injuries. He is trained in both open and minimally invasive (arthroscopic) techniques, providing modern, evidence‑based care tailored to each patient’s needs.
