Nick Elkington is the clinical lead for Minimal Access Surgery and Endometriosis at Frimley Park Hospital, where he has been a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist since 2006. As a senior consultant (and Deputy Chief of Service), he is also responsible for training Senior Trainees in advanced gynaecological surgery.
In 2007 he set up Women-1st Gynaecology with his colleague Anne Deans and they have worked in partnership both in the NHS and privately providing high quality gynaecological care to thousands of patients.
As well as providing general gynaecological services, he also offers couples investigation and treatment of fertility. Having trained in reproductive medicine as a registrar at St Thomas’s Hospital, he has always maintained his strong interest in helping couples to have a family either with medication, surgery or assisted conception.
