About
Mr Bhardwaj graduated from University of Leicester Medical School in 2001 and is an Honorary Associate Professor, Leicester Medical School . Mr Bhardwaj undertook most of his surgical training in Leicester and then spent 1 year each in Adelaide and Oxford undertaking prestigious fellowships. He works full time at the Leicester General Hospital as a consultant liver, pancreas and gallbladder surgeon since 2015. He has a specialist interest in hernia, adrenal and spleen surgery and in particular keyhole (laparoscopic surgery) of the gallbladder, having performed over 1000 of these procedures. He treats a wide variety of liver & pancreatic problems including acute and chronic pancreatitis, he undertakes laparoscopic cholecystectomy as well as open and laparoscopic hernia repairs having performed over 400 of these procedures.
He has published widely and presented at national and international conferences in addition to providing his expertise as an author to multiple book chapters. Mr Bhardwaj's aim is to provide expert surgical care to his patients whilst taking a holistic approach to their illness. Age range 18+

I have a young family and in-between a busy NHS job and running after a toddler, I manage to do some cycling and get in a round of golf, weather and wife permitting.
